Task Description

Arrangement of delivery of a large batch of construction vehicles and equipment for construction of a new facility in Pevek. The cargo had be transported from Kemerovo City, from the village of Ugolnye Kopi, and the village of Lavrentiya to port of Pevek

Distinctive Features of the Cargo

Since the cargo had to be taken from different points of origin and delivered to the same port of destination – Pevek Port, it was necessary to thoroughly study the cargo plan in advance

Project Implementation

A party of vehicles, i.e. dump trucks, was located in Kemerovo. Our specialist from the nearest company’s branch arrived at the point of dispatch to control the process of loading of the dump trucks to the railway platform. As the cargo had shipped from Kemerovo without delay, it arrived at the port of Vladivostok and was loaded onboard on time.
For sea carriage, our agents found two ships equipped with loading facilities that allowed for independent load-discharge operations, because there were no cargo cranes for loading-unloading operations in the village of Ugolnye Kopy.
Delivery was also complicated by the fact that most of the large and heavy vehicles and equipment were located in the village of Lavrentiya, where there was no berth for mooring and therefore loading was carried out inshore. Despite all the difficulties, we successfully completed the task – all the cargo was delivered to the destination by the agreed date.
